View & Compare Plan Versions

Via Projects > Plans and Layers

To view plan versions in Projects:

1. Click Projects
2. Click on the project to open it
   

   

3. Click Plans and layers
   

   

4. Click on the layer/plan e.g. Ground Floor
5. Click View versions (3)
   The number in the button shows how many plan versions there are.
   

   

Via Tickets Plan View

To view plan versions in Tickets Plan View:

1. Click Tickets
2. Select the layer
3. Select Plan in the View drop-down
   

   

4. Click the Show details & options button
   

   

5. Click Versions (3)
   The number in the button shows how many plan versions there are.
   

   

To view plan versions in the iOS app:

1. Tap Tickets
   

   

   
    
2. Tap Plan
3. Tap Plan versions
   

   

To view plan versions in the Android app:

1. Tap Tickets
   

   

   
    
2. Tap Plan
3. Tap Plan versions
   

   

1. Click on the version
   

   

1. Tap on the version
   

   

1. Select a version in the plan version drop-down
   

   

1. Tap Done
   

   

   
    
2. Tap on the version
   

   

1. Use drag and drop to move the visible section of the plan
2. Use the mouse wheel or click the + and - buttons to zoom in and out
   

   

1. Drag and drop the plan to move the visible area
2. Spread two fingers apart to zoom in
3. Pinch two fingers together to zoom out
   

   

To show/hide ticket pins on the plan:

1. Select/clear the Show tickets checkbox (cleared by default)
   

   

To show ticket pins on the plan:

1. Tap the ticket pin icon
   

   

To hide ticket pins on the plan:

1. Tap the ticket pin icon again
   

   

In the Webapp the plan comparison feature allows you to view two plan versions side by side. Differences are highlighted. You can change the colour and opacity of the highlights. Both plan views are synchronised by default to ensure that you are always looking at the same area of the plan at the same zoom level. It is also possible to display ticket pins on both plan views.

To compare two plan versions:

1. View a plan version (as described above)
2. Click Compare versions
   

   

3. Select the version that you want to compare with.
   The version selected in the viewer is greyed out as you will be comparing with this version.
   

   

Synchronised Navigation

By default, both plan views are synchronised when you Navigate on the Plan (as described above).

To allow separate navigation on both plan views:

1. Clear the Synchronise plan views checkbox
   

   

Select Plan Versions

View and compare different plan versions:

1. Select another version in the Plan version drop-downs
   

   

Highlight Differences

To change the colour of highlighted differences:

1. Click on a different coloured circle
   The active colour shows a ✔
   

   

To change the opacity of highlighted differences:

1. Use the Opacity sliders above the left or right plan view.
   Move the slider further to the left for less opacity or further to the right for more opacity.
   0% opacity on the far left will hide the highlights.
   

   

Show Ticket Pins

To show/hide ticket pins:

1. Select/clear the Show tickets checkbox (cleared by default)
   

   

Download Plan Versions

To download a plan version:

1. Click the Download icon next to the version in the list
   

   

2. OR Click Download plan in the plan viewer
   

   

3. OR Click Download plan in the plan comparison viewer
   

   

In the mobile app the plan comparison feature allows you to view a plan version and highlight the differences to another plan version. You can change the colour of the highlights. It is also possible to display ticket pins on both plan views.

To compare two plan versions:

1. View a plan version (as described above)
2. Tap Show difference to version
   

   

3. Tap on the plan version that you want to compare with
